This repot was do done about a month ago, but i thought i would share it.  Thee tree is much more than I have seen anywhere on the 'net and deserves a some recognition, IMHO.  So here it is:

My Dad ask me if I would help him repot one of his bald cypress today. It is a large tree and difficult to lift by yourself, so I went over and we got to it. Here is Dad with the BC:

It has quite a few knees, I love the melted wax look they have...
Two hernias later, we got it lifted on the bench, check out the escape roots, these come from submersion, a controversial topic used to increse trunk girth, if you want to read more, check out this article.
We finally got it out of the pot. The holes are from where we had to use a one inch bit to drill the roots out of the drain holes to get it out...
After much washing, pruning, cutting, dynamite, thermo nuclear device, etc., we reduced the roots enough to get it back in the pot...
This is a small knee that had to be removed, it was too close to the edge of the pot. If you look closely you can see where they form on the roots. The root has to first be fairly large, and close to the soil surface. After observing these over the years, I think that if you want knees, you have to let the roots run and thicken up, feeder roots want get you these...
We got it back in the pot and the new soil pack in, all that was left was a good watering...
It took us about four hours to complete the task. After we cleaned up, my Dad told me that the tree mine since it had gotten to much for him to handle and move around. I was stoked! It is now in my back yard and I hope that I can care for it like he did, thanks Dad!!!!!!
